Mari Kubota solo exhibition “Yokosoyoko”

DMO ARTS is pleased to present the Mari Kubota’s solo exhibition “Yokosoyoko”from November 21 (Tue).

The girl said,
“Yokosoyoko. My house is here.”

Kubota, one of digmeout artists, has started her artist activity for the first time in 10 years. This exhibition in Osaka will be a compilation of her past exhibitions in Tokyo, Takamatsu and Hiroshima. Darkness and Pastel. Live and Death and Innocence. Girls only Kubota can draw are unique and distinct. We introduce her newest works , drawings, picture books, coloring books and goods that are available during the exhibition period only.

Venue: DMOARTS Dates: Tuesday November 21 to Thursday December 7 Time: 10:00 – 21:00 (closing at 18:00 at the final day) Reception party: Thursday November 23, 18:00 – 21:00 (no reservation) ** Kubota appears at the reception party, please come and enjoy.

Born in Hiroshima.
Graduated from Kyoto University of Art & Design.
Started exhibitions and installations in Japan and foreign countries since 2004.
Worked for Image visuals of NISSAN wingroad, Main image works of Another Edition, Image visuals on Jerry PongPon (English cosmetic brand) and so on.
