ART MARKET 2023", a new project by "OIL by Bijutsu-cho", will be held from September 1 (Friday) to September 30 (Sunday), 2023, where you can enjoy artworks both online and on-site.
DMOARTS will be exhibiting in both the online and satellite exhibitions, presenting the works of three artists, Chiharu Yakushikawa, Koga Miura, and Saki Matsumura.

    [Artist]

    Chiharu Yakushigawa
She has developed her own unique abstract paintings based on the theme of the relationship between "pairs". In her "Right Hand and Left Hand" series, in which he applies paint directly to his right and left hands and paints by hand, she uses pigments she has mixed herself to express a mixture of the individual and the individual with each other.
In addition, she continues to present a variety of methods of expression for each work, such as her "Knock" series, which focuses on the act of knocking, a signal before entering the other's territory, regarding the relationship between the self and others in a society with advanced social networking services.

    Koga Miura
Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1997, he completed his master's degree in oil painting at Kyoto University of Arts in 2021.
He creates two-dimensional works based on the main themes of "coincidence" and "artifice/randomness. By using random numbers and written instructions in the decision-making stages of composition and color schemes, he eliminates the conscious artifice of the creator. By doing so, the artist's work is purely random, and the blurring and coincidence of the output of the body are allowed to emerge. Just as a mechanically-drawn work that follows instructions has its own unique expression, he finds contingency in the ordinary day-to-day, and continues to create works in order to affirm irregular events.

    Saki Matsumura
Born in Nagano, Japan in 1993, she completed her graduate studies in painting at Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2017. Currently based in Kyoto.
She creates dynamic paintings by combining hard-edged colored surfaces created by spraying and silkscreening with uneven surfaces covered with heavy layers of paint. The clash of different elements creates a strange harmony that opens up the imagination to new sensations.
