    [Artist]
    Ryoki Kurasaki
The artist attempts to pursue the reality of the motif by burning the part of the oil portrait that used to be the eyes. The phenomena and materials generated by the flames as a metaphor for life, the exposed space, and the structure of the canvas itself are important components of the work.

    Kenji Hirasawa
Kenji Hirasawa (born 1982, Tokyo) is a Japanese photographer who graduated from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University in 2006. He completed his MFA in Photography at the Royal College of Art. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Europe and Japan, as well as at SHOWstudio, and in 2011 published a book of photographs entitled "CELEBRITY" (Bemojake) and held a solo exhibition of the same title at the gallery KK Outlet in London. Saki Matsumura
Born in Nagano, Japan in 1993, he completed his graduate studies in painting at Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2017. Currently based in Kyoto.
He creates dynamic paintings by combining hard-edged colored surfaces created by spraying and silk-screening with uneven surfaces covered with heavy layers of paint. The clash of different elements creates a strange harmony that opens up the imagination to new sensations.

    Koga Miura
He produces two-dimensional works using random numbers and written instructions, with the main themes of "consciousness and unconsciousness," "artifice and randomness," and "production and non-production. He uses random numbers to determine the process of composition and color scheme, which require the artist's decision-making, and outputs them through his own body. In the same way that an accidental expression that cannot be controlled by the artist is created through the repetition of a simple task according to instructions, he creates works in order to reaffirm and affirm the out-of-bounds nature of our daily lives.

ART OSAKA 2022, the 20th edition of the contemporary art fair, will be held from July 6 (Wed.) to 11 (Mon.), 2010. ART OSAKA has the longest history of any ongoing art fair in Japan, and has been a popular venue for young and mid-career artists.
This year, continuing on from last year, the festival will be held at two venues: the Osaka City Central Public Hall (designated a National Important Cultural Property), located in one of Osaka's representative cultural areas, and a new venue, the former site of the Namura Shipyard - Creative Center Osaka (Heritage of Industrial Modernization) in the Kitakagaya area where artists' studios and other facilities are located.
We hope you will enjoy "ART OSAKA 2022," which connects Nakanoshima, a cultural area attracting attention with the opening of Osaka Nakanoshima Art Museum, and free and receptive Kitakagaya through art, and enjoy the entire city of Osaka.
